My Top 5 Beach Boys’ Songs

I heard from a news that The Beach Boys will visit Manila and will perform at Araneta Coliseum on January 27, 2010. The Beach Boys are a pop rock group formed in 1961 composed of Brian Wilson (keyboards, bass Guitar), Dennis Wilson (drums) and Carl Wilson (lead guitar), Mike Love (lead vocals), and Al Jardine (rhythm guitar). Most of the band’s songs were about life in southern California, the beach, girls, cars, and surfing.

And if I will be given a chance to request a song to be performed by The Beach Boys, here’s my 5 personal picks:

1) WOULDN’T IT BE NICE

Wouldnt it be nice if we could wake up
In the morning when the day is new
And after having spent the day together
Hold each other close the whole night through

2)GOD ONLY KNOWS

If you should ever leave me
Though life would still go on, believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would livin’ do me
God only knows what I’d be without you

3) SURFIN’ USA

If everybody had an ocean across the USA
Then everybody be surfin’ like California

4) GOOD VIBRATIONS

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears
And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair
I hear the sound of a gentle word

5) FUN FUN FUN

Well she got her daddy’s car
And she cruised through the hamburger stand now
Seems she forgot all about the library
Like she told her old man now
