Beth’s Pick for 10 Most Romantic Songs
Lea and I recently had an idea to include music-related notes or articles here in lyrics-buddy. To kick-off this concept each of us will be posting our own list of favorite romantic songs.
So here’s my list. You may click on the title to see the lyrics & video for the song. 
1) UNBELIEVABLE by Craig David
Now I see, what love means.

Love love love love love this song!! I find the words and the melody perfect. Whenever I hear this song, it makes me wanna fall in love and wish that someday somebody would make me sing this song
And I don’t know why
I can’t keep my eyes off of you
These lines stucked to my mind when I first heard this song while watching Smallville. It’s because I’ve always thought that one of the symptoms of love is when you walk in a room full of people, your eyes automatically look for that special someone, and once found, your gaze just keeps returning to that person no matter what you do.
3) YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW by Angela Bofill
You ought to know by now
Love is the look in my eyes
Has it shown? How much love has grown
The way I tremble at the sight of you
This has always been my all-time favorite song. I remember when I was young, whenever I would hear the intro for this song, it would somehow make me feel happy. I used to sing this a lot but it’s been a while since I last sang it in a videoke session. It’s because I was kind of hoping that the next time I sing this, a special somebody would be listening hehehe (soo cheezy!!)
4) OUT OF MY LEAGUE by Stephen Speaks
Cause it’s frightening to be
swimming in this strange sea
But I’d rather be here than on land
Cos she’s all that I see and she’s all that I need
and I ‘m out of my league once again
This song is sooooo sweet. It would really flatter me to death if somebody would sing this to me hehehe.
You remain my passion, my pleasure, my pain
Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grave
The more I get of you the stranger it feels
Passion… this is what comes to my mind when I hear this song. I just find it so sexy, I would loooove to slow dance to it..
6) IN THIS LIFE by Ronan Keating
If it all falls apart
I would know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered has come true
In this life I was loved by you
Do I need to explain why I love this song? Just look at these lines. This was originally sung by Ronan Keating but Westlife also have a very nice version of this and I’m confused cause I can’t decide which one I like better
7) I LOVE THE WAY YOU LOVE ME by Boyzone
I like the feel of your name on my lips
And I like the sound of your sweet gentle kiss
The way that your fingers run through my hair
And how your scent lingers even when you’re not here
Yup, I know 2 Boyzone songs in this list, well actually the other one is by Ronan Keating. But I am really a fan of their songs. When they went here to have a concert, I was still in school and I didn’t have money to buy tickets, so I promised myself the next time they come here I would definitely watch. But, I guess that won’t be possible anymore because of what happened to Stephen Gately 
. Anyway, this is one of my favorites.
If you’re wonderin’ what I’m askin’ in return dear
You’d be glad to know that my demands are small

This is my favorite song by Michael Buble. It was introduced to me by my teamleader and I used to listen to it during lunchbreak so I could fall asleep. It is so soothing and Buble’s voice is really smooth and relaxing. Now, if only I personally know someone who could sing like that…
So I won’t hesitate no more
No more, this can not wait
I’m yours
I just have to sing along and sway my head whenever I hear this song. What I like best in this song is it’s melody. It’s so catchy and it makes me feel good. I never get tired of listening to it.
10) GOD MUST HAVE SPENT A LITTLE MORE TIME ON YOU by ‘N Sync
Your love is like a river
Peaceful and deep
Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep
When I look into your eyes
I know that it’s true
God must have spent a little more time on you
Talk about flattery. I think to have somebody who thinks of you as someone God-has-spent-a-little-more-time-on is every girl’s dream.

I have a few of my own (mga pang diin kung baga hehe)… Kinda old, but for me they’re timeless.
1. If I Keep my Heart Out of Sight (James Taylor)
– “If i present it to you…With a flower in the moonlight” o di ba hehe…
2. Somebody (Depeche Mode)
– well, hmmm… just listen 
3. Stigmatized (The Calling)
– sang this song to a girl once and, let’s just say, it did it’s job. the falsetto part is best served while looking her in the eye haha!
4. I Could not ask for More (Edwin McCain)
– from the first line you can tell that this song is meant to be heard together with your “the One”.
yan na lang muna, baka mabuko pa yung iba kong pang diin. hahaha!!! tell me if you’ve already made entries for the ones I mentioned ha?
